The United States formally entered World War II after Japan bombed Pearl Harbor. Women were taking part in even more jobs compared to the WWI era. Women are driving trucks, working as laboratory technicians, working as radio operators, and even flying military aircraft. Rosie the Riveter, based of a real woman, Naomi Parker, was an image used to inspire patriotism and female liberation. Like WWI, WWII increased the amount of women in the workforce and also increased the demand for equal pay.
