The silk road was made to transport many different items like, teas, spices, salt, sugar, porcelain. They got back gold, cotton, ivory, silver and other things. The silk road helped to spread good ideas across many parts of the world that were nomads.This is interesting because it got good ideas out and helped receive many items that they lacked. It also allowed nomadic places to expand and make a better civilization.
