In his Scientific theories, Democritis proposed that all of space, or the Void, has equal standing with reality to exist in the universe. Through this, he developed the concept of the Atom. He prophesised that atoms were invisible and indivisible objects with reality that made up, quite literally, everything in existence. He also stated that these objects have properties that allow them to increase and decrease.
