Eras of Design

The classical era interested me because people more cared for the function of something rather than its artistry. That is why it is interesting to see how artistry was built into practicality. Renaissance was very focused on religion, and I wanted to see how that affected their paintings. Edo (modern day Japan) has a very different culture from us, and I wanted to see how their lifestyle affected their art.
