The first crusade ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 15 August 1096 - 15 July 1099 This resulted in a crusader victory. The first crusade probably wouldn't actually be considered the first crusade. The many leaders of this crusade include: Raymond od Saint-Gilles, Godfrey of Bouillon, Hugh of Vermandois, Bohemond of Otranto, and Robert of Flanders.
The Second Crusade ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1147 - 1149 This crusade was led by King Louis VII of France and Emperor Conrad III of Germany. Despite being led by two of Europe's greatest rulers, this crusade resulted in a loss against St Bernard.
The Third Crusade ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1189 - 1192 The crusade was led by Emperor Frederick Barbarossa. The military crusaders had won this battle, and this resulted in a three year truce. Many other important leaders of this crusade are: Phillip II Augustus of France, and Richard I (Richard the Lionheart) of England.
The Fourth Crusade ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1202 - 1204 The following crusade began only lasted for two years. This crusade was led by Pope Innocent III, who also led them to a loss against Ayyubid sultan Saladin.
The Fifth Crusade ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1217 - 1221 This crusade was led by King Andrew of Hungary. It resulted in a Muslim victory and an Eight-year truce between the Ayyubids and the Crusaders. .
The Sixth Crusade ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1228 - 1229 The sixth consecutive crusade lasted only, beginning in 1228. It was led by Louis IX of France, one of the greatest French kings. According to google, this crusade resulted in a "Diplomatic Crusader victory Jerusalem given back to the Crusaders."
The Seventh Crusade ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1248 - 1254 Just like the sixth AND the eighth, this crusade was led by King Louis IX of France. The King's Christian army was defeated by the Ayyubid army. A similarity between this crusade and the eighth crusade was the fact that they were both led by King Louis IX of France.
The Eight Crusade ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1270 - 1270 This crusade resulted in these things: inconclusive treaty of Tunis, death of Louis IX and the opening of trade with Tunis. Just like the seventh crusade, this one was led by King Louis IX of France.
The People's Crusade ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1 April 1096 - 1 October 1096 The people's crusade was technically the first and largest crusade. It was believed that this Crusade was the known cause of the following Crusade, called "The First Crusade." The leader of this crusade was a monk and powerful orator named Peter, the Hermit of Amiens.
The Children's Crusade ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1212 - 1212 The Children's Crusade was said to be a "failed popular" crusade. The crusaders had left the areas led by Stephen of Cloyes, who led Northern France, and Nicholas, leading Germany. The reason why the crusade was a failure, was because the crusaders never actually arrived at their destination.
The Hundred Years War ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1337 - 1453 France was in serious conflict between England, causing this war. The war was divided into three phases, known as the Edwardian War, the Caroline war and the Lancastrian war. These three phases were seperated by a truce. King Edward III (leading England) was against King Philip VI, who led France. Even after all these years, the French managed to win the battle again England.
The Edwardian War ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1337 - 1360 The Edwardian War was the first phase of the Hundred years war. It was named after the King Edward III of England. The result of this war was an English victory, causing the French government to completely fall apart.
The Caroline War ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1269 - 1389 The Caroline War was the second phase, following the Edwardian War. This phase was named after King Charles of V of France, and the Kingdom of France was dominating this phase of the war. Unlike the last war, the French were the victors in the end. .
The Lancastian War ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1415 - 1453 The Lancastian War was the third and final phase of the hundred years war. The French won once again. Henry V of England had invaded Normandy and had failed to recover Bordeaux, which was a which was any type of wine made and produced in the Bordeaux region of southwest France.
. Lord Edward's Crusade ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1271–1272 Lord Edward's Crusade, or sometimes known as the ninth crusade, was a crusade led by Lord Edward, Duke of Gascony. This crusade resulted in a withdrawal, and some people say that the crusading spirit was dying out by this time period.
