History of the African-American Experience in Westfield

Grace, Thank you for your in depth study and reporting of the African/American history in our town as it relates to national Black history. Very well done!! I have read publications by Langston Hughes and Zora Neale Hurston (I especially loved her autobiography, I hope you have a chance to read it!!) I did not know about Paul Robison's time in Westfield. It is so rich seeing the history of the US laid out above in comparison to the Westfield history below. So rich! We are lucky to have you!! Trudy Burke
