1827: Heliography, the world’s first photographic process, invented by Nicephore Niepce.
1900: The Kodak Brownie camera. The first portable/mass market camera.
1948: Edwin Land Invents the first polaroid camera. It can print a picture automatically as it develops within a minute.
1981: The development of the world's first digital camera, the Sony Mavica.
2000: The world's first camera phone.
