1945; The United Nations was officially formed on the 24th of Oct 1945 after WWII -The United Nations came into existence when its charter was officially ratified. The United Nations was formed by 51 countries. Australian Doc Evatt found a few issues when the UN was first formed. He believed that larger countries would dominate discussions for he got support from smaller countries and lobbied for the power of the UN General Assembly.

International Covenant on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination 1965 -Australia Ratified this treaty on the 30th of September 1975 -This treaty is meant to put a stop to all racial discrimination by persons, groups and organisations -When Australia ratified the treaty, it immediately created laws that prevent racial discrimination -Australia needs to improve on this treaty with Asylum seekers. Australia has a very poor rating when dealing with Asylum seekers and needs to improve.

The Paris Agreement is an agreement that is meant to help reduce carbon emissions -The Paris Agreement has expectations that countries will reduce their carbon emissions. They want political members to recognize that there is an issue and want them to act on it. -Australia acted on the Paris Agreement by introducing carbon tax. -Australia can attempt to reduce their carbon emissions. This can be done by possibly using other energy sources etc.
