Moore Vs Dempsey 1923 - failed to uphold the death sentence for 12 AA because the trials were dominated by mobs
Trudeau Vs Barnes 1933 - insisted on all state appeals being exhausted before cases can be taken to the Supreme Court.
Gaines Vs Canada 1938 - Ruled that separate but equal facilities must really be legal. - The University of Missouri rejected Lloyd Gaines application claiming he was closer to other Universities. - Argued that this violated constitutional rights.
