The Labyrinth Society History Timeline

This is a wonderful page to share - FYI David Gallagher wrote the most comprehensive full detail story of how The Labyrinth Socieity was founded and I feel it should be part of this page. We do honor those who came together, and THAT is The Labyrinth Society Legacy up to April 30, 2021 - he did a brilliant job with listing all the names and dates and 'facts', and before all our memories fade...deserves to be highlighted here. I hope the webmaster can fid it and bring it onto this page...in Gratitude for all everyone has done through the Labyrinth Society era through April 30, 2021

Oh my goodness thank you Jeff...must have been a very late night when I added a bit and got all 3 spelled wrong with autocorrect I didn't double check... Absolutely The first Regional Reps Chair was my long time friend, Vicki Keiser, and 2003 Vice President I call "Bob" Buckman, he and wife Jane we are still communicating, as I still communicate with The Lonegren's via FB when I can, and of course, you're always in our hearts for all the years of work you've done to give us those first big impressions of the diversity of the patterns - educated us on the World of Labyrinths..thank you Jeff, for all the years you have devoted... Those many others we still keep in touch with, and those early beginning years still hold fond memories for all of us, as the organization was 'always' inclusive as World-wide - since the beginning, we all worked together and the Members were kept informed, and welcomed into the process with the open door policy for asking questions of our BOD, and bringing suggestions on how to grow our Community. There IS a rich Labyrinth Society Legacy that was held together each year, each BOD by David and his lovely wife Jane Gallagher. Thanks for the memories

Thank you Dee Clark for all your hard work to capture the timeline. May I suggest it would be great to historically augment the lower level 'history', while minds are still available (smiles). I came to those early Gatherings from the first open to the public in 1999 in Colorado. The current Committees of
1) Energy Keepers was guided by Toby Evans.
2) 365 Club was guided by Vicki Keller and Sig Lundgren
3) Regional Representatives and Regions was guided originally using the (Dowser Map), and while I do not know who spearheaded getting the program out, I was recruited by the then Vice President Bob Buchman around 2003 I think, (I don't know for sure as the early Map I have of the Regions did not have a year on it). I do remember Robert Ferre. David Gallagher especially aided me in getting Michigan re-aligned from the East to Central Region, and I've been a Regional Rep since the beginning. Our role was to be available for inquiries and guiding people into learning about labyrinths and fielding questions and always inviting people to come to our yearly Gatherings. I'll send you a more detailed Email. Perhaps this 'sparks' others memories to contribute the years TLS Board Meeting Minutes to Review... how long we have had some of our current "Committees"...
