The meeting took place in the State House in Philadelphia. With the British troops invading the people in Boston, some reinforcing had to be done. The second Continental Congress formed and in no time agreed that they should create a Continental Army. Congress authorized the printing of money so they could afford to buy weapons and resources for the war.
