The Ṡvíwpentan Republic was being surrounded from the North, East, and South. The North and the East from the OLF and the south by the Pastoban Liberation Force which had joined in the war late to aid Oipienta in their fight against fascism. The republic was led by Ipethis State senator Šovístã Zãlašã.
