The Palestinian People's Party (PPP), originally founded as the Palestinian Communist Party in 1982, is a socialist political party in Palestine. It evolved from earlier communist movements and joined the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) in 1987. The party changed its name in 1991 to reflect a shift away from Marxism-Leninism towards a focus on national liberation.

Historically, the PPP was active in the First Intifada and has participated in various electoral processes. It has supported the Oslo Accords but now criticizes the peace process while advocating for an independent Palestinian state. The PPP faced internal changes with Mustafa Barghouti's departure in 2002 to form the Palestinian National Initiative.

In recent elections, the PPP has been part of several leftist coalitions but has struggled to gain significant influence. For instance, in the 2006 Palestinian legislative election and the 2017 local elections, the party was part of joint lists but won limited seats. In the lead-up to the 2021 elections, the PPP formed a "United Left" list with the Palestinian Democratic Union.
