The General Assembly

Recalling resolutions 3175 (XXVIII), 3336 (XXIX), 3516 (XXX), 31/186, 32/161, 34/136, 35/110, and 36/173 on sovereignty over national resources in occupied Palestinian and other Arab territories,

Also recalling its support for efforts by developing countries and peoples under occupation to regain control over their resources,

Considering relevant international laws and conventions, including the Hague Convention of 1907 and the Fourth Geneva Convention of 1949,

Regretting the absence of the Secretary-General’s report on this issue,

Condemns Israel for exploiting national resources in occupied territories;

Emphasizes the right of the Palestinian and other Arab peoples to full control over their resources;

Reaffirms that Israeli measures to exploit these resources are illegal and calls for an immediate halt;

Reaffirms the right to restitution and compensation for resource exploitation and loss;

Calls on all States to support these rights;

Urges all entities not to recognize or assist in Israeli measures related to resource exploitation or demographic changes;

Requests the Secretary-General to submit the required reports at the General Assembly’s next session.
