The ongoing saga of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's mutual domestic abuse allegations took a shocking turn this week as a leaked audio tape recorded back in 2015 surfaced, featuring the actress admitting to hitting the Pirates of the Caribbean star. While this doesn't refute the separate claims Heard has made against Depp, it has led to the public's opinion on the former becoming more muddled and perhaps led to support of the latter increasing again.

It looks like Amber Heard’s days in the DCEU are numbered as it’s been revealed Warner Bros. Pictures is considering removing her from Aquaman 2.

This has been a long time coming, and fans of the DC Comics movies have been demanding Amber Heard be removed for a while.

There’s a whole reason why they want her gone, and it comes down to what happened between her and Johnny Depp.

A petition to have her removed from the movie is on Change.org and it’s got an awful lot of signatures.

It’s now got over 200,000 signatures and it’s looking like more and more people are signing this petition every day.

According to We Got This Covered, Warner Bros. Pictures is now considering getting rid of Amber Heard from their DC Comics movies.

It was believed that Heard was going to be returning as Mera in Aquaman 2.

However, it’s looking like she won’t be coming back, and I’m pretty sure people will be very happy to hear this news.

It doesn’t make for very pleasant reading and the person who started the petition, Jeanne Larson details everything that happened.

Here’s a little snippet from her petition:
Amber Heard has been exposed as a domestic abuser by Johnny Depp. In his $50 million lawsuit, Johnny Depp describes many incidents of domestic abuse that he suffered at the hands of his (then) wife Amber Heard, including one incident where she punched him twice in the face and another where she shattered his finger with a vodka bottle, and his finger had to be surgically reattached. He will bear the scar from that for the rest of his life.
