FBI Director James Comey announces that the bureau is reviewing new emails related to its investigation into Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server. These were emails from seized Anthony Weiner laptop (Huma Abedin husband caught in pedo sexting scandal) The announcement, made just days before the election, roils the final days of the campaign.

This in combination with the WikiLeaks release of Podesta emails had both of Hillary's top aides exposed right before election.
