Like i said before, the founding of the microscope was big enough but compound microscopes are far more important since they can lead to further discovery. Of course, I don't know yet whether or not i will make the use of either of these important in my story. However, i was to ensure that i follow a strict timeline that is similar to the real one. For example, if there is a throwback scene in my story in which these weren't used yet, i don't want one present. I want it to be as real as possible as to not confuse my audience and to enable easier interpreting of the exact timeline. Honestly, if people like MatPat didn't exist, this would be dill to me. But i am not about to be proved wrong, period.
