June 18 was the landind day for Guam. However it was postponed. They had to because of the trouble on saipan. This was a good thing though. Now the navy had a lot longer bombardment time and could really clear the way. It was still not easy taking the island of Guam but with the natives on their side it was easier than it could have been. On Guam the natives were treated horribly. One in particular was a little boy that became good friends with the navajos. He was taken in a when they had to say goodbye one navajo in particular cried.
