the Magna Carta was a document signed in 1215 in Britain. The document sought to bring power to the people, and to bring the monarchs to equals to the citizens under the rule of law, and although initially unsuccessful, the Magna Carta would lay the groundwork for future policies regarding Classical Liberalism.
