On January 30th 1933, Hitler was appointed the Chancellor of Germany. However following the large success of the July 1932 elections, despite being the leader of the Nazi Party the largest in the Reichstag, it took several months and the economic and political instability of Germany (with 2 more chancellors before him failing to stabilise the situation) and the situation of the country to worsen.
