Brown vs. Board of Education - Brown v. The Board of Education was a landmark case for the Civil Rights Movement. At the time, schools were supposed to be separate, but equal in regards to black and white students. This case ruled that this was not equality, and ordered that all schools be integrated, mixing black and white students. At the time, this was a huge step forward in the Civil Rights Movement, and is relevant today seeing all schools remain equal for all students.
