This token (SATOSHIDICE), minted by Doggfather, is a very unique and interesting interpretation of 'misprints' or 'failed mints' on the Counterparty platform.

The origin of the SATOSHIDICE token comes from Counterparty transaction #1952 in which a user tried to mint a Counterparty token but did not have the 0.5 XCP fee to mint a named token.

Doggfather noticed many of these failed issuances were simply not issued again in the future, the oldest one being specifically Counterparty transaction #1927: PPCOIN.

SATOSHIDICE is specifically the second 'failed mint' on the Counterparty protocol but is the earliest 're-minted' failed mint on the Counterparty platform as Doggfather sucessfully minted SATOSHIDICE first in Counterparty transaction #1822063 (which is almost seven years later).
