1 янв 1913 г. - Niels Bohr built on the Rutherford model, he proposed quantized orbitals for electrons outside the nucleus and solved the problem of stability of atomic structure
Описание:
Bohr established a quantum theory of the atom based on Rutherford's original nuclear-atomic model. According to this theory, the electrons in an atom can only move in discrete orbitals, and they neither absorb nor release energy when moving in the orbitals. The atom has a definite amount of energy in a state called the "steady state," and the atom can absorb or radiate energy only by moving from one steady state to another. Although this theory has many successes, there are many difficulties in explaining further experimental phenomena.
