This Counterparty Improvement Proposal supported spending and creating segwit outputs for Counterparty transactions.

By utilizing P2WPKH and P2WSH scripts to send assets, users can spend less on transaction fees sent from counterparty-lib and counterwallet.

This adding of segwit compatibility to counterparty-lib also enabled potential future enhancements.
