After a few weeks of restoration, the newly discovered Elevator is seemingly functional. A canary in a cage is sent down to test for gas. When the elevator returns, the canary is gone, but the cage remains, door still locked. It is quickly decided that the Elevator, and where ever it leads, is simple None Of Their Bussiness.
