Victor Emanuel II assembles the deputies of the first Italian parliament and declares Italy, with Rome as its capital (not yet conquered). there is also the intention of passing new liberal reforms and creating a common currency(1862) but in the south of Italy, many episodes of Brigandage, encouraged by the exiled Bourbons, are occuring.
