A conspiracy to introduce the constitution in the kingdom of the Two Sicilies is backed by the Army, bourgeoisie and liberals. The resulting revolution forced King Ferdinand to implement the Spanish Constitution of 1812. Revolution also to Turin and Victor Emanuel I abdicated in favour of Charles Felix, Charles Albert was appointed regent and he granted the constitution. King Ferdinand is successful in regaining absolute power when an Austrian army defeats the revolutionaries. Charles Felix also regained absolute power with Austrian help
