1 окт 1796 г. - On October the 6th Captain James Cooks ship the HMS endeavour sailed into a New Zealand bay and had the first sighting of maori and it did not go down well. They blew their trumpets and fired their cannons and the local maori took that as a sign of war. Cook later journeyed to hawaii where he met his demise.
