John Talbot led the English Army to the town of Gascony on the 17th of July in hopes of leading a siege on the city. The English army was severely outnumbered which led to their defeat that same day. This defeat crushed the English and all of the Englishmen were removed from France except for those in Calais. The Hundred Years' War ended with this battle.
