In Christian faiths, he is believed to be the Son of god, sent to spread God's message to the people's of Earth. Within just a few centuries from this date, Christian followers of Jesus will go from a barely known persecuted minority to the official religion of all of Rome, and the faith would continue to thrive and spread many centuries after Rome's fall.
