When the 1st World War ended, Puerto’s Ricans had migrated to the southwest, populated areas in the southwest such as texas, new mexico, and the central valley after the war. People worked during the war, specifically the women while the men were at war, they built working class communities with heavily populated latinos at the end of the war.
