Experimented potential DNA structures such as 1-strand, 2-strands, and 3-strands.They found Franklin's research and determined DNA is 2-stranded, with it's strands running anti-parallel with each other.
Along with the anti-parallel strand discovery, Watson and Crick discovered that DNA replicates itself, encodes genetic information, and has a double helix structure made up of nucleotides, which are units.
