Fish-ins are when people would go fishing in illegal areas to protest about the Indian's fishing rights. A fish-in was organized at the Pullayup River, this group included Marlon Brando, a famous actor that went to support this cause. Marlon Brando and a clergyman were arrested but they were immediately released because Pierce County Prosecutor didn't charge them. "Brando's no fisherman ... We think this was just window dressing for the Indians' cause" ("Marlon Brando").
