3 янв 1997 г. - Time of targeted but limited representation of black people on TV
Описание:
"By 1997, black cast and black theme-oriented shows were still confined largely to the genre of situation comedy and entertainment variety."
"That year the major networks scheduled a thin slate of nighttime dramas featuring black lead characters: NYPD Blue, ER, Law and Order, Chicago Hope, Homicide: Life on the Street, Touched by an Angel, 413 Hope Street, and Players. The network also scheduled the usual fare of black-oriented situation comedies with identifiable black actors like Bill Cosby, the late Gregory Hines, LL Cool J, and Jaleel White."
