Описание:

Robert Clarke and Mark Merlin propose a revised taxonomical model based largely on Karl Hillig's findings. Clarke and Merlin propose that there was a common ancestor to all currently varieties of Cannabis, which they label the "Putative Ancestor". They then suggest that this ancestor was selected into distinct ancestors, a "Putative Hemp Ancestor" and a "Putative Drug Ancestor". The "Putative Drug Ancestor" then, theoretically, was selected into narrow leaf and wide leaf drug cultivars as well as wide leaf hemp cultivars from east asia. The "Putative Hemp Ancestor" would go on to be selected into European narrow leaf hemp varieties, according to their evolutionary model for Cannabis.
