Operation Sea Lion was a German plan to invade Britain. The Luftwaffe (Air Force) would attack the Royal Air Force, and the UK would use radar to figure out where the Germans would attack from. While the UK lost 1,000 planes during the operation, the Germans lost 1,700. The Germans bombed everything they could, but ultimately radar saved the UK from being invaded.
