The 1970 world cup marked the 3rd time Brazil won the world cup, which meant they would be awarded the Jules Rimet trophy, named after the man who thought of starting the World Cup, and one of the founders of FIFA. After The Brazilian National Team received the trophy, it was replaced with the more Iconic trophy that we have today.
