Uncle Tom's Cabin is an anti-slavery novel made by author Harriet Beecher Stowe. It showed struggles from the perspective of a slave, Tom, and what he experiences while being enslaved. The novel tried to unify north and south with it's religious ties but failed. This novel laid the foundations and motivations for the Civil War.
