1 окт 1923 г. - Beer Hall Putsch
Описание:
The Beer Hall Putsch, also known as the Munich Putsch, was a failed coup d'état by Nazi Party leader Adolf Hitler, during the weimar republic on the 8th of November 1923.
The Putsch was inspired by Benito Mussolini's march on Rome. Hitler and his associates planned to use Munich as a base for a march against Germany Weimar Republic government. The main causeof the Putsch was from Hitler and his Nazi party. They aimed to seize control of the state government and overthrow the German federal government. The reasoning of failure of the Munich Putsch was because of an unwanted split between Hitler and Ludendorff. The general considered Hitler to be a coward for backing away when the police began to fire. The effect of the Beer Hall Putsch brought Hitler to the attention of the German nation for the first time and generated front page headlines in newspapers all over the world. Hitler was then convicted high treason and sentenced to five years in prison but only served 8 months.
