- Visa will introduce Digital Authentication Framework (DAF) EMV 3-D Secure (3DS) processing and DAF Cardholder Authentication Verification Value (CAVV) integrity fees for DAF EMV 3DS participating issuers in the Europe and LAC regions
- Should an issuer’s access control server (ACS) not conform to DAF program rules2 by incorrectly responding to a DAF authentication request, the Visa Secure DS will respond on the issuer’s behalf and the DAF integrity fee will apply.
