MIG: People who envisioned a God-given "empire of Liberty" would move west to perform God's will. As this idea spread more people moved west to spread democracy and capitalism throughout North America.
ARC: People envisioned an "empire of liberty" and were enthusiastic about the expansion into the west, while others, such as Henry Clay were not as enthusiastic. They were concerned that expansion would reopen the pain and controversy over slavery, which is exactly what happened.

TURNING POINT: This is the turning point for migration, because before Manifest Destiny people weren't really sure about expanding and moving westward. But after manifest destiny, after seeing that God wants the nation to move west and expand their ideologies all over the continent, they would be okay with moving west. It caused an massive amount of people who wanted to move west, after not wanting to before.
