22 апр 1915 г. - Poison Gas
Описание:
The use of poison gas as a weapon dates back to ancient times, when it was used in the form of toxic fumes or smoke. However, the use of poison gas as a chemical weapon in modern warfare began during World War I.
The first use of poison gas in World War I occurred on April 22, 1915, when the German army released chlorine gas on the battlefield at Ypres, Belgium. The gas was released from canisters and drifted towards the Allied lines, causing widespread panic and confusion. Many soldiers were killed or severely injured by the gas, and it was later discovered that the gas was highly toxic and could cause long-term health problems.
