Cromwell now in high control was going to sort out land in Ireland to control rebellion of the crown as Ireland made still some support of the royal as they disliked parliament even more and as they had been fighting of the royalist side thoughout the civil war they felt hard upon the new change of power
So Cromwell landed with 10,000 parliamentary (NMA) troops to control a catholic nation with his Protestant beliefs and also to get back at them for the 1641 rebellion against Protestants were the Ireland killed thousands of innocent protest people and Cromwell would not forget this coming to Ireland this time
Cromwell would go on to creat the bloodshed all around Ireland throughout his campaign most notability in the town of Drogheda
As they knew Cromwell was coming they asked the NMA if they could at least get all the women and children out of the town with boats and also to give up the town before
Cromwell response would to not let them give it up and so they destroyed Drogheda all to rubble and then fired on the boats leaving with the women and children so the boats would sink and they would all drown.
