The Beatles, formed in England 1960, are one of the most iconic bands of all time. Comprised of included John Lennon, Ringo Starr, Paul
McCartney, and George Harrison the band shocked the world with their catchy songs and charm. During their years as a band they had 20 #1 hit songs. Some of their hits included "Hey Jude" and "Come Together" and they both spent months on the charts.
Despite their immense success, the band stopped performing together and broke up in 1970.

Members:
John Lennon: A cultural icon due to his assassination in 1980 and his tumultuous relationship with Yoko Ono that many attribute to the fall of the band. He play guitar and did vocals for the group
Paul McCartney: McCartney, or the cute one, is still a legend to this day, and set the tempo of the group with his bass skills. He also sand vocals.
George Harrison: Known for his quite nature, but a truly profound musician. He plays guitar and sang for the group. He was much more low-key than the rest of the group, but no less important.
Ringo Starr: Born Richard Starkey, Starr played the drums for the group. He is very charismatic with loads of charm which translated into his unique drumming abilities. He was known to be very funny and very occasionally sing a thing or two for the group.

The Group started Apple/Corps Records because of their massive amounts of success because of "Beatle Mania." They quickly became businessmen and lead an enterprise. The dealt with electronics, films, publishing, and much more. They even sued Apple Computer in the 70s for namesake.

I also went to London this summer and saw Abbey Road, but also the site of their last ever performance in January of 1969. I have attached a picture of the plaque apologies for the quality!
