After a planned coup by the Oipientian government, the Serpentan Theocratic government was overthrown and replaced with a democratic regime. This democratic regime, led by Lesik Thaishvamen submitted a request to join Oipienta immediately after coming to power. The request was approved in haste before other nations could react to the coup.
