Dr. Henry Wu returns to Isla Nublar to retrieve his laptop in order to sample the indominus rex genetic code. His laptop is destroyed by the six teens trapped on the island, forcing him to collect a direct sample. The teens are eventually swept off to Mantah Corp Island.
The Indominus Rex Specimen Retrieval results in the mosasaurus escaping into the open ocean.
