Materials: Stone walls, reused Roman marble columns, arches alternating red brick and white limestone voussoirs, wooden ceiling, gold and glass mosaic decoration in the qibla wall
856 columns total, some made from jasper, others of onyx, granite, or porphyry
Purpose: Mosque, a gathering place for Muslims in Córdoba
