Unable to defeat either of his brothers or avenge his Mother's death, Aurelius awakens in the morning to find his adopted family and tribe dead. Discovering a few of the magically inclined tribesfolk he assaulted remaining alive but afflicted with the same blood curse he holds, Aurelius flees the massacre, taking these people with him.

It is believed that the Werewolves of modern day Italy, Greece, Spain and Africa are descended from the Golden Line of Aurelius, though attempts to trace any bite-lineages down to him have so far failed.
