Romana, smuggled into Alba Longa by Numerius begins training beneath him. It is said in Roman-Wixen stories that Numerius knew that she was his daughter, and so took a keen interest in her magical abilities. Whether he knew Romulus and Remus were still alive was a question unanswered, though it is noted in later tales that neither exhibited any magical inkling, likely being early examples of squibs.

Romana is noted at this time to have had a deepset fear of the Moon, as it made her magic and her emotions grow unstable and she returned to a savage nature. As such, Numerius took to binding her with bronze chains and locking her within the ruins of a great Amphitheatre outside of the city walls which would later become known for being haunted.
