Josiah's wife, Zebidah, the daughter of Pedaiah of Rumah, begat Eliakim.

Eliakim was the elder brother for Jehoahaz and Mattaniah and uncle for Jeconiah. Eliakim became the first king of the Dependent Judah, because Eliakim was appointed by pharaon Necho II in 609 BC insted his brother Jehoahaz.

Hebrew name: Yehoyakim ben-Yoshiyahu.
